In this article, the relationship between grades of high strength concrete of the new code and the grades of concrete strength of the old code has been specifically described. At the same time, it has introduced how the grades of high strength concrete are derived. and what the design of concrete's mix proportion would eventually affect the strength of concrete. Finally. it has demonstrated some practical examples in the design of concrete's mix proportion. It is suggested that it would be helpful as a good reference for those technicians in their application of high strength concrete testing and the design of concrete' s mix proportion.
