A portable multi-purpose marine pilot instrument with features of small size. light weight. easy to use. high;accuracy of positioning and high rehliability is introduced. It can be used as a highly accurate synthetical nilvigation system for various type of ships. The principles of signal transformations and the design of the hardware and software for interface cicuit,as well as the idea of the whole instrument structure design also repported in detail.This paper may give a reference to the study of general purpose intellectual instyrument too.
