The determination of geomorphic feature and landscape assemblage plays more and more important role in the research of modern dynamic feature of fault and the evaluation of seismic safety. As we know,the faulting with different Property usually results in specific tectonic geomorphic feature and landscape assemblage whick are very important for the determination of fault property. For instance,the strick-slip fault usually create linear vally. fault offset, lock ridge.rift pond.comprcssed ridge.fault terrace,fault cliff etc.But as to the tectonic geomorphic feature and landscape assemblage of dip-slip fault,up to now.there is few report. The paper considcrs that the tectonic geomorphic feature and SL value of gully of fault give important information on fault movement and step classification.The paper finds many geomorphic types such as gully offset,local open swale,bog or pond,fracture point and tectonic nodules in the bed of gully.Their assemhlage indicates the dynamic-characteristics of East Maoshan fault of laevorotation strike-slip, with overtbrust.The SL value k appears clearly step-down . but normally lower than that of strong seismic area. Therefore the area is quite safe area for earthquake.
