以淀粉为原料的酿酒厂副产品酒糟中含有菲汀。从稻谷酒糟中提取菲汀，生产工艺简单，原料价格低廉，且货源充足，经济效益较好。提取菲汀后，浸泡渣的粗蛋白含量虽略有降低，但除去了抗营养物质（菲汀），提高了品质，可作为一种优良的禽畜饲料；同时，又大大降低了酒厂废水的酸度，减轻了对环境的污染。
