Exploration compensated cost of using reserves is a significant part inthe cost of oil and gas production. It is very important to calculate the compensated costreasonably and scientifically. It is suggested that the compensated cost should be includedinto oil gas cost in order to recover all exploration investment as well as its interest. Aconcrete calculation has been done. For the problem of the rising of cost, extracting thecompensated cost from the oil-gas field which is still in economical production periodafter recovering the investment, and the usage of the compensated cost extracted, someviewpoints and proposals are given.
