The Far Field Asymptotic Solutions of Tsunami Induced by Earthquake

本文从Mei的积分表达式出发,对任意底部冲击产生的地震津波,讨论了长时间过程后在远离震源处的远场渐近解,得到了解的一股形式,证明了余项为高阶小量。这就不仅把Mei的有关结果作为特例包含了进来,而且证明了余项的量阶为O(t^(-3/2)),而不是Mei给出的O(t^(-1)),从而保证了所得结果的有效性。

This article contributes to the far field and long time behavior of a tsunami caused by an impulsively heaving bottom with arbitary strenth distribution. A general form of this asymptotic solution is obtained. It's error has been proved to be O(t-3/2) instead of Mei'sO(t-1).
