本标准与《军队战时饮用水卫生标准》相配套，目的是统一军队战时饮水卫生的检测技术方法。有检测指标２６项，参考检测指标８项，共计３４项。检测方法的基本特点是准确可靠，操作简易，试剂稳定，便于携带．符合战时饮水卫生保障的要求。
