Taking zhucheng Cement Plant as an example the author stated that close door operaton of shaft kiln sholud start with the stabilization of burning process of the kiln i. e. praperly enlarge the top of kiln shaft improvove the kiln shell insulation, keep good buring condition, etc. By correct selecting parameters, better economical effect can be obtained. It is a good example for a stable and safe operation of mechanized shaft kiln.
