This article concentrates mainly on the development of bottom structure of cement silo as well as the problems in the design of a silo with pressure releasing chamber such as, selecting silo size volume, bottomshape, aeration method and defining operating parame tres. Besides some practical problems in the operation of a silo bottom systemare also tackled in the article.
