中低品位硅藻土提纯在其工业应用开发中有着重要意义。介绍了米易硅藻土原土性质及硅藻的组成；磁选法、加剂处理磁选法处理米易硅藻土的研究情况；采用选择性絮凝一磁重分离工艺处理米易硅藻土的结果。由于采用这种试验方法所得产品可作食品助滤剂原料。

Low and middle grade diatomite purification is of great importance in its industrial use development.The properties of raw clay and composing diatiom of Miyi diatomite deposit,the studies ofmagnetic separation,reagent treatment-magnetic separation of the raw clay,and especialy the results ofselective floculation-magnetic-rgavity separation process of Miyi diatomite are presented.This processcan be used to produce food aid filter material。
