小流域水土保持信息系统,主要由数据采集、数据处理、系统输出和应用等三部分组成。这个系统具有建立流域数据库,建立流域数字地形模型、统计分析、规划预测与动态仿真和编绘专题地图等主要功能;还具有扩充性,根据不同流域的实际需要,增加新功能,以满足小流域综合治理开发与管理的需要。

According to the requirement of the 'Seventh Five-year' Scientific and Technical programe, a remote sensing monitoring experiment is underway in Zhifanggou catchment located in Ansai county, northern Shaanxi province. Consequently, an information system of soil and water conservation has beenestablished for this small catchment. This system can deal with database establishment, digital elevation model, statistics and analysis, planning and prebicting, dynamic imitation, thematic mapping and so on. In addition the system can be extended and increased more new functions if required,to meet the need of comprehensive development and control planning,dynamic monitoring and management of a small catchment.
