The specification, characteristics and configuration feature of cold-wall type slide valve were introduced. Practices indicated that the cold-wall type slide valves have been used extensively owing to their advantages of lower outer wall temperature, no leaking, lower heat expansion and thermal stress as well as the conveince for erection.
