摘要
本文利用Ｍａｘｗｅｌｌ波动理论，研究阶梯折射率分布的椭圆光波导特性．给出了解析解式和本征方程；研究了其传播特性和偏振特性．
The purpose of this paper is to utilize the Maxwell wave theories to study gradient refractive index of elliptical waveguides. We provided accurate solution and characteristic equation. We also studied the polarzation and the spread character.
