Improving Reelability of Inferior Cocoons by Wet-heat Treatment

应用丝胶蛋白化学理论,分析探讨劣质茧解舒不良原因及其变性机理,认为茧、丝结构的多种不均一性和差异,都能造成蚕茧的解舒不良。解决办法除主要提供优质高产的蚕种,以及改进茧?温湿度和收烘茧处理外,通过实验证明,采用触蒸处理及相应的煮茧工艺,可使劣质茧解舒明显提高。

The cause of poor reelability of inferior cocoons, as analysed by fibroinchemical theory, lies in the structural non-homogeneity and difference of bothcocoon and silk. This can be remedied by such measures as adopting high-yieldsilkworm races, satisfactory mounting temperature and humidity, and rationalcocoon purchasing and drying processes, in addition to direct steaming andproper cooking process.
