用莫来石、结合粘土和漂珠等原料研制了体积密度＜０．５ｇ／ｃｍ３，Ｆｅ２Ｏ３＜１．５％的Ｆ０．５牌号隔热耐火砖。该砖的技术指标均达到或超过美国同类产品的水平。经唐山陶瓷公司、美术瓷厂在钟罩式窑上应用表明，热稳定性良好，节能效果明显。

The insulating brick is made from mullite,soft clay and suspended coal particulate with bulk density of <0. 5g/cm￣3.The brick has been employed in bell jar kiln,showing good thermal stability and obvious energy saving effect.
