STUDIES ON THE NUCLEOLAR ORGANIZER REGIONS OF THE LYMPHOCYTIC CHROMOSOMES OF MAREK'S DISEASE

用银染技术研究了马立克氏病（ＭＤ）鸡淋巴细胞染色体上核仁形成区（ＮＯ）的变化．结果发现，ＭＤ鸡的银染ＮＯＲ（Ａｇ－ＮＯＲ）数目极显著高于阴性对照鸡（Ｐ＜０．０１）；ＭＤ鸡的Ａｇ－ＮＯＲ分布也发生变化，ＭＤ阴性对照鸡的Ａｇ－ＮＯＲ仅位于一对微小染色体上．而ＭＤ鸡的却分布于多个微小染色体以及１号和４号染色体长臂末端．

Silver staining analysis showed that the Ag-NORs of the normal control chickens were located on a pair of microchromosomes. The model number was 2, with a mean number of 1.89 ± 0.12. The Ag-NORs were found to be expanded in the chickens with March's disease, with multiple Ag-NORs in 88.2% of the metaphase cells observed. The mean number of Ag-NORs was 5.621±1.25, varied from 2 to 9 with a model number of 5. In 60.40% of metaphases, the Ag-NORs signincantly appeared on the telomeres of chromosome 1. Statistics results indicated that the Ag-NORs frequency of the chickens with Marek's disease was remarkably higher than that of the normal control chickens (P< 0.01).
