Abstract This paper was dealt with the preparation of envelope of chrysanthemum volatile oil and β-cyclodextrin with the method of saturated water solution.The envelope was confirmed by differential thermoanalysis.The oil content andreceivation of inclusion,and the utilization ratio of oil were 10%,83. 6% and 40% respectively.The main components of oil remained after enveloping,but thevolatility of oil decreased.
