We apply correlation dimension calculations for the study of strange attractor structures with low dimension to geomagnetic field.Our findings indicate the existance of a geomagnetic attractor with a fractal dimension of about 2.However the dimension of attractor changed before the strong earthquake.This valuable dimension occurs disturbances of attractor topology and may be used as one of the earthquake precursors.
