情报意识能力、是对科技期刊编辑人员重要的素质要求之一；最能显示编辑人员情报意识活动能力强弱的阶段，是编辑系统工程的“产前”和“产后”两个环节；指向性和敏感性是衡量编辑人员情报意识活动能力强弱的主要指标。作者结合自己长期从事农业科技期刊的编辑实践，就如何提高科技期刊编辑人员的情报意识活动能力问题，谈了自己的体会。

The ability of information consciousness is one of the impertant quality of editors of scientech journals. 'Preproduction' and 'Postproduetion' of systematic engineering of editing can most reflect their ability of information consciousness.Directional ability and sensitivity are the main index to judge their capability in this field. Combining long period of practice, the author explained his personal experience on how to promote this ability of the authors.
