轿车转向球头销失效分析及质量改进

Failure Analysis and Quality Improvement of Steering Ball Studs for Passenger Cars

通过对轿车转向球头销早期断裂失效进行分析的结果表明，球头销装配结构不合理及强度不足，是造成其早期磨损断裂的原因；静载和弯曲疲劳寿命对比试验结果表明，改进后的球头销，其寿命和静强度均比改进前有所提高。

Based on a study of premature failures of steering ball studs for passenger cars,it isrealized that the reasons of premature wear or break of ball stud could be the unreasonable con-struction and its unsufficent strength. After improving the ball stud design the results of static loadtests and bending fatigue endurance tests show that its endurance and static strength have been en-hanced comparing with the original ine.
