Failure Tree Analysis(FTA) is a method for assessing the reliability, safety and risk of large scale cornplicated systems. FTA can help to ascertain potential failure during design stage of motor vehicle produets so as to improve the design. This paper discourses of the comception relerant to the failtlre three analysis,the method of constructing the 'tree' of FTA and the procedure of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
