The paper presents the mechanical product processing and product information in CIMS. Some product information is more complex. The complex infomation modeling is discussed. Using business DBMS to manage product information is given. In order to meet CIMS demand, object-oriented special software is developed. The software can effectively manage the product information'and has been successfully applied in industry.
