PROBABILITY STATISTICS AND PHILOSOPHY

从哲学的本体论、认识论和方法论三方面，论述了概率统计思想的哲学意义，着重揭示了概率统计思想对人类思维模式的重要影响，指出概率统计思想使哲学对“决定论”、“偶然性和必然性及其相互关系”等范畴的认识产生了质的飞跃，并说明概率统计思想已成为科学发现、科学研究和科学预测的重要方法论原则。

In this paper,philosophical significance of the thinking of probability statis-tics has been expounded from three aspects of philosophy :ontology,theory of knowledge andmethodology,the great influence of the thinking of probability statistics on niankind thinkingpatterns is revealed.It is pointed out that it is the thinking of probability statistics thatmakes a quality leap in philosophical cognition to the categories such as“determinism”,“con-tingency and necessity and its inter relations”,The thinking of probability statistics has be-come an important principle of methodology for:scientific discovery,research and prospect.
