In this paper there is described the principle for the biochemical treatment on the effluents from the coking and chemical plant by efflux aeration and the equipment thereof. In the Jingdezheng Coking and Chemical General Gasworks the surface aeration tank is converted into the efflux aeration tank and the discharged effluents are basically up to the stipulations as specified in the State Standard except COD.
