摘要
本文论述湖南土地资源的主要特点，分析了土地利用现状及存在的主要问题，同时提出对土地资源的合理开发利用措施．
unan Province has peculiar geographic location, advantageous natural conditions and various types of land resources, with rather high natural produciton potential. At precent forest land and cultivated land are two of the largest land-use types, and the regional difference of land-use is evident. The problems on land-use are as follows: unreasonable land--use structure, low landuse efficiency , degraded land quality, and decreasing area of agricultural land. In order to develop hod resources rationally and meet the need of social and economic development, the following meaSUres should be taken: 1 ) formulating correct hod-use principles with overall consiederation 2) raising land-use efficiency with intensive farming; 3) opttimizing land-use structure; and 4) strengthening the protection of land resources.
