The ingredient processes and the main properties of the trasferred coating, and the ingredient of sodium silicate precoated sand and the curing procedure with microwave heating were described. In addition, the casting experiment was carried out. The results were shown that the inside surfaces with the cores coated the trasferred coating were smooth and that the casting sizes were accurate.
