炉前冲入废钢提高灰铸铁强度的方法初探

摘要 试验了通过冲天炉炉前铁水包中冲入少量废钢以及冲入废钢同时进行孕育处理来提高灰铸铁强度的方法.结果发现:冲入3%废钢能明显提高灰铸铁的强度且引起的化学成分变化不大;冲入废钢同时配以孕育处理可较大幅度提高灰铸件的强度. The methods of improving tensile strength of gray cast iron by adding some scrap steel into ladle in front of cupola and innoculating when adding scrap steel were tested and discussed. Experiments showed that adding 3% scrap steel intoladle could remarkably improve the strength of gray iron and the composition changes caused by adding scrap steel were insignificant. It was also found that adding scrap steel cooperating simultaneously withinnoculating could greatly improve the strength of gray cast iron.
