摘要
本文报道了不同掺镁量(0,5,7mol%)的Z切LiNbO_3质子交换光波导的制备。光学测试结果表明:LiNbO_3晶体中不同MgO的含量并不影响质子交换波导的阶梯型折射率分布特征;对于波长为0.532μm,0.6328μm的测量光,波导表面折射率增量分别约为0.16、0.12、0.1;并且发现波导的扩散特性受晶体中MgO的含量影响,最后给出了不同掺镁量Z切LiNbO_3质子交换波导的扩散系数。
Fabrication of proton-exchanged waveguide of z-cut LiNbO_3 doped with different MgO contents is reported in this paper.The optical measurements show that the MgO content in LiNbO_3 crystal doesn’t influence the character of the step-type refractive index(RFI ) profile in proton-exchanged waveguide ,and the surface refractive index increaments at the wavelength of 0.532μm 0. 6328μm and 064μm are about 0. 16,0. 12 and 0.10 respectively. Also the impact of the MgO content on the diffusion coefficient is reported and the diffusion coefficients of proton-xchanged waveguide of z-cut LiNbO_3 doped with different MgO contents are worked out.
