In 1993 a great lot of progress has been made in the vehicle lubricant in the USA. SH gaso-line engine oil specification was in effect in August and CF,CF- 2 and CG-4 diesel engine oil will be finalized in the earlier 1994. The HTHS viscosity index of 20W/40 locomotive engine oil has been issued by GE. Approximately, PG- 1 transmission oil has been completed. Dexron Ⅲnew specification of ATF oil was published in April and it will replace Ⅱ E which was just in effect in January
