许多经济学家认为，需求价格弹性与曲线的斜率有关，斜率越大，弹性越小；斜率越小，弹性越大。本文则用数学证明，需求弹性与曲线的斜率无关，而与截距有关。
Some economists hold that the price-elasticity of demand bears a relationto the slope of demand curve: the greaterthe slope,the less the elasticity. This paperhas proved with mathmatics that the elasticity of demand has proved with to theslope, but does have relation to the intercept.
