This paper introduces the development and constitution of the horizontal bunkers,summarizes the mining characteristics of the high production and efficiency at home and abroad,and elaborates emphatically on the rationalization of the techni-cal-ecomomic of the horizontal bunkers for the mining design of the hign production and efficiency face.Finally,the conclusion is obtained that the horizontal banker used in the high production and efficiency face is ratioal to both technique and economy.
