摘要
用苗木侧根短根穗扦插育苗，是繁殖毛白杨的一种好方法，成活率可达９５％，且苗木质量好。根穗粗度与长度对育苗成活率影响很大。根穗粗０．６ｃｍ以上，长１０ｃｍ以上可获得较高成活率．从１年生苗上剪１～４条侧根，保留树根基部２ｃｍ，不会影响造林成活率与幼树生长。
Abstract It is a good method for Populus tomentosa propagation by using lateral and short roots of nursery stock as a cutting. The survial rate reaches to 95%, and stocking quality is higher. The thickness and length of root cuttings affect the survial rate greatly. The root cuttings with 0.6cm in diameter and 10cm in length could get a higher survial rate. The root cutting being cut from 1 to 4 lateral roots of 1 year old seedlings, and 2cm lateral root bottom being left in the top root, that will not affect the survial rate of afforestion and yong tree growth.
