本文分析了西北电网水电调峰的现状，列举了因调峰频繁开停机对大型水轮发电机安全运行的危害，论述了提高水电机组调峰能力的一些技术措施和政策。

In the paper, the author analyses the present situation of hydropower generators during operation for regulating peak load in Northwest China power system,discusses the harm tosafe operation of large hydropower generators from frequent starting and stopping for need tocover vtirying load demand of daily graphic and proposes some technical ways to raise the abilityof hydropower generators for peak load regulation.
