介绍冶金设计院如何将单个计算机辅助设计（CAD）工作站组成CAD网络系统，以达到资源共享，提高CAD系统效率的设计建设实践，着重阐述了网络的设计经验和功能水平。
It is explained how to connect a group of single CAD workstation into a GADnetworks in Shanghai Metallurgical Design and Research Institute for the purpose of resource-sharing and efficiency improvement of the CAD metworks system- The experience of designand the rea1ization of networks functions are introduced.
