摘要
文章通过对京沪线南段开行５０００吨级重载列车的社会效益和铁路企业效益的分析，认为开行重载列车势在必行。同时表明，应加快牵引动力的改革，改双机牵引为单机牵引，以提高重载列车的经济效益。
In this paper, the advantages for developmcnt of the heavyhual train on the southern section of Jing-Hu line are expounded on theanalysis of social and business economical benefits. It is also shown thatthe locomotive must be improved as fast as possible in order to set a sin-gle-motive to carry the heavy hual train·Thus,the economical effectivenessfor heavy hual train will be grealty increased.
