台湾海峡西部海域晚更新世以来沉积物年代与沉积速率

AGES OF SEDIMENTS AND SEDIMENTATION RATES OF THE WESTERN TAIWAN STRAIT SINCE LATE PLEISTOCENE

本文根据我所1984—1985年台湾海峡西部海域综合调查资料,研究了该区晚更新世以来沉积物年代与各期沉积物分布;计算了沉积速率;划分了不同的沉积速率区;初步探讨了沉积速率变化机理。

Based on the 26 ^(14)C dating data from 10 field stations in the multi-disciplineries investigation of the western Taiwan Strait in 1984—1985 and marking reference to the 13 ^(14)C dating data from 4 stations in the Fujian coastal zone investigation report, this paper discusses the ages of sediments since the Late Pleistocene and the distribution of the sediments of each period. It presents the calculated sedimentation rates of the area since the Late Pleistocene and classifies centred by the ancient Mingjiang river mouth as the high sedimentation rate regions and the area from the coast to the mid-line of the strait as the low sedimentation rate regions. Finally, it analyses the mechanism of the variation of the sedimentation rates on the while.
