Comment on the R6 Fracture Assessment Procedure for Second Stresses

ＣＥＧＢ－Ｒ６处理二次应力的方法已被许多国家的断裂评定规范所采用，但该法本身的一些缺陷至今仍未解决，本文在分析Ｒ６中ρ形成的基础上，对推导过程中的有关假定和简化公式的成立条件作了定量的评估，找出了造成Ｒ６中ρ值不合理的原因，进一步阐明ρ值的真正含义及影响因素。同时提出一种与实际情况更相符合的ρ值形成方法。

Since it's special merits,the method for taking into account the second stresses in the CEGB-R6 has been widely adoped by many fraceture assessment codes. However, severial shortions in CEGB-R6 ρ-factor has not been overcome. In this paper , some assumptionand simplied equation used to derive the CEGB-R6 ρ-factor was quentitatively examined.The reasons which made CEGB-R6 ρ-factor illogical were found. The real means and influence factors were were expounded. Meanwihile, a recormmendational method the form morecoresponding to the acntual ρ-factor has been proposed.
