The computer control system of a large-sized industrial vinyl chloride distillation column was introduced.which was implemented on a set of computer control device composed of a high reliable industrial control computer and in telligent regulators.Accordance with special istles and technic requirments of vinyl chloride distillation process ,an advanced and rational control scheme was designed. Long and stable run of the computercontrol system of the large-sized industrial distillation column was made by using the functions of hardware redundancy,configuratlon software and intelligent communication provided by thls set of computer control device. thus remarkable economic benefit was obtained.
