The paper introduces initial results of experiments of seeding production of feminization in flounder. Sperm was diluted over 50 times with Ringer's solution and irradiated by ultraviolet rays of 3000reg/mm2. The artificial fertilization was done with eggs immediately. Some fertilized eggs were hatched at normal temperature. Other eggs were treated 30 minutes in 0℃ seawater after fertilized 3 minutes in order to be induced diploid by meiotic gynogenetics which is achived through retention of second polor body. Haploids (84. 21%)diploids (77. 27%)of fertilized eggs were confirmed by chromosome counts respectively. Most of embryos of haploid died before hatching only a few were hatched larvae but none of them survived. Some larvaes of gynogenetic diploid were hatched,but the hatching rate was lower than normal. Further mass production of all -female in flounder is described.
