This is the first one of a series of papers presenting cases of using the methodology forhe development of industrial reaction processes as a tool to manipulate various practical reactor deveiopment problems. This paper aims at describing why attention should be paid to thenethodology, its basic principles and how it is applied to effectively developing industrialreaction processes from a practical point of view.
