A new type of MTLO(methanoI to lower olefines) catalyst SO/ZrO_2 superacidcatalysts was prepare. The effects of preparation conditions on the properties of catalystswere studied in detail. In addition, the effects of reaction temperature and space velocity of methanol on conversion of methanol over SO/ZrO_2 catalysts were also studied.Whenthe calcination temperature is 773K and reaction temperature 653K,the conversion ofmethanol is up to 87.7wt%and the vield of C_(2-4) olefines is 18.0 wt%. The contents of CO、CO_2 and CH_4 in products are all very low, The olefine/paraffin ratio is large,The concentra-tion of NH_3·H_2O has some effects on the distribution of hvdrocarbons.
