摘要
石油地质综合研究，主要是研究含油地质体形成、分布和预测的科学，与油气勘探开发决策有密切的联系。综合应用石油地质各学科基本理论、多种方法技术和辩证思雏，实现从认识含油地质体到能动地发现和改造含油地质体的转变，是它的最主要的价值所在。
Comprehensive research in petroelum geology is a science in which the generation, distribution and prospection of oil and gas in geology bodies are studied comprehensively and these are related closely with the policy and decision making in petroelum exploration and development. The principal value of this kind of research is to realize the overall process including the understanding, discovering and exploiting oil-gas fields by means of the theory of petroleum geology and numerous related techniques.
