Current US Policy for Information Industry

克林顿政府提出的信息通信产业政策与前任布什政府所提出的政策有所不同,主要表现在更加注重加强国家介入机能,以及针对体制上的弊端进行调整。本文较详细介绍了当前美国信息通信领域的主要政策,阐述了推行新政策所要面临的难题,以及为实施新政策而做的努力。

The information and communication industrial policy proposed by the Clinton Administration is different to some extent from that raised by the former Bush Administration. It attaches more importance to state-intervening functions and making adjustment against malpractice in the system. This paper elaborates the major policy for the current information and communications fields in the US, issues from implementing the new policy and relevant efforts.
