GSM is developing far and wide. Europe-centered GSM has stretched to most of the asian countnes and regions. Technical specifications for all the aspects of GSM have been worked out in detail, and a 'platform' has been gradually formed. The subscribers increased from 0.5 to 1.5 million in the first quarter of 1994. GSM will be the world's major digital mo-bile Communications system.
