Installation and Operation of Cable Cranes in Wuqiangxi Hydropower Station

五强溪水电站主体工程混凝土浇筑垂直运输在大坝两岸分高、低层布置４台平移式２０ｔ缆索起重机。其中２台高缆从德国引进，属世界上首次采用全遥控的缆机，同时也是国内塔架最高的缆机；２台低缆属我国目前自行设计制造安装的规格最大、速度最高的缆机。

In construction of Wuqiangxi Hydsopower Station, four movable 20-t cable cranes were used to transport concrete the main structures.The four cranes were instelled on upper and lower platforms at both banks respectively. The two cranes on the upper platforms characterized by full remote control with the highest tower in China. the other two cranes on the lower platforms were the largest ones manufactured by China in terms of size and speed The selection, arrangements and installation of cable cranes are explained. The effect of four joint operated cable cranes is evaluated.
