地理信息系统是现代地理学的智能化空间技术工具,其应用方法主要包括应用系统设计、数据采集、专题分析模型、地学专家系统与地理信息系统与遥感的结合等。实现遥感与地理信,包系统的结合,空间数据源大量应用于地理领域,促进了其技术革新,拓宽了其应用领域,缩短了数据更新周期,增强了系统动态分析预测能力,是地学发展的必然趋势。
Geographical information system is a tool of the intellectual space technology in modern geography. Its applications include: design for application system, data collection, model of monographic study and analysis, combination of the geoscience- expert system, geographical information system and remote sensing, etc. The combination of remote sensing technology and geography information system, and the application of a large number of space data in the field of geography would accelerate the teehnological innovation, widen the realm of application, shorten the cycle of renewal of data and strengthen the system's ability in dynamic analysing and predicting, which is an inevitable trend in the deverlopment of geoscience.
