Measurement and Analysis of Rotation in Close Binary Stars(1)Observations and Results

用相同的仪器条件在美国ＫｉｔｔＰｅａｋ国立天文台观测了一批密近双星，并用两种方法得出其自转速度，最后给出了７５个双星系统的９９个子星的自转速度，其中５４个子星是首次进行自转测量。这批高精度的自转值为研究双星的同步性和检验各种同步机制提供了可靠的观测资料。

Using an instrument system unchanged throughout the observations,we measured 75 close binary systems for rotational velocities at Kitt Peak National Observatory with the Coude Feed telescope,employing an ST2 1024×1024 CCD and a TI3 800×800 CCD.12 standard rotational velocity stars and 36 calibration stars in the Slettebak new system were also observed.Two methods, convolving and FWHM,are used to measure the stellar rotational velocities.Vesin i values of 99 components in 75 binaries are determined.Among them,54 stars are measured for stellar rotational velocities probably for the first time.The results are given in a table.We analyse and discuss these results,especially the measurement errors.We also compare the rotational velocities determined by the two different methods,and find that the system difference between them is very small.
