The advantages and disadvantages of the two types of high speed passenger cars-concentrated motive power and separated motive power--are compared. The mode of high speed Itassenger cars appropriate to our country and the principies of development and design are discussed. Suggestions are gi￣en in determining the main technical parameters and in the general development and design plan.
