摘要
语用学是语言学的一个新兴领域,其作为独立学科的地位直到 20世纪 70年代才得以确立,经过数十年的发展已形成相当可观的规模。语用学尽管是一门年轻的学科,然而其覆盖面却十分广阔,对语言教学、人际交流、跨文化交际颇具指导意义。
Pragmatics is the study of the use of context to make inferences about meaning and a study of (language) comprehension and application.This paper elaborates the principles of pragmatics,the significance to study pragmatics,the relationship between the pragmatics and language teaching and its application in language teaching.
