摘要 我校东南亚非通用语种越南语、老挝语、泰国语专业创建于 20 世纪 60 年代初,2000 年增设柬埔寨语专业,同年亚非语言文学成为硕士学位点和自治区重点学科。2001年教育部批准我校为国家外语非通用语种本科人才培养基地。2003年,广西教育厅批准我校越南语专业为精品专业。我校十分重视非通用语种各专业建设,紧紧瞄准彰显特色、打造品牌这一目标,坚持以注重质量和能力的教育观念为建设基础,以构建开放务实的教学体系为建设核心,以切实加强师资队伍建设为建设重点,以充分利用得天独厚区优势和语源优势为关键平台,以丰硕喜人的科研为发展动力,形成了鲜明的办学优势和特色,真正打造出良好声誉的专业品牌。 In the 1960s, Guangxi University for Nationalities established three majors: Thai, Lao and Vietnamese, to which Cambodian was added in 2000. Ever since the establishment of these majors, the University, in the light of the quality and ability strategy, has attached gteat importance to the development of them by concentrating the efforts in the improvement of the teaching competence and the cultivation of an open and pragmatic classroom system. In addition to the favorable advantage, the university enjoys as a near neighbor of Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, has resulted in an exciting achievement both in teaching and academic research. In 2000, these majors were authorized for a master’s degree and as one of Guangxing strategic majors. In 2001, the university obtained the approval of the State education Ministry and became one of the country’s Non Universal Foreign Languages Training Camps. In 2003, its Vietnamese major was honored the title of “Elite Producing Major” by the Guangxi Education Department. Now, these majors have built up their own style of schooling and won a highly-respected fame for the university.
